Win a Free YogaDudes T-Shirt

Although I am enjoying all my teacher training homework and all the fascinating reading, I sometimes ask myself, “Why am I doing this?” I have full-time job and a side business to run. I’m not planning to go out and actually teach yoga classes. This is just something that I feel I need to do. Sometimes the days aren’t long enough and the stress level is high. Sometimes I think I’m just crazy for taking more on my already full plate. So I’m looking for some inspiration . . .

Please answer my simple question, “Why should I become a yoga teacher?” by leaving a comment in the Comments Section below. Please be sure to include your email address in the comment. A winner will be selected on Valentines Day and notified via email.

I have been teaching yoga now for about 9 years. I love teaching the joys of yoga to others because I know what my study and practice has has done for me and my family. I have met so many wonderful people along the way and have learned so much, receiving back way more than I ever thought possible. If you've been thinking about teaching... just go for it! Namaste'

Being a yoga teacher is pure bliss---hearing a 2 year old say "Namaste" fills my hearts with love. When my 83 year old senior student pats my hand and says thank you "dear" I know I am doing what I should. Strive for your goals....Namaste

Become a yoga teacher because you've reached the point where you have no other choice. Sure, you've got other things on your plate, "tell me about despair, yours and I'll tell you mine..."

But what else is there in your heart? What other road is there to walk? If there were any other path that would get you where you're REALLY going, you would take it. Because this path is not easy. There are times when this path scrapes you raw. But the Truth is hounding you, and you will not have rest until you are fulfilling your Calling.
The work you do for (only) money drains you. The work you do for your heart fills you. Sometimes it will make you money, and sometimes it won't.

I have been teaching yoga for seven years now,I previously had a pretty good career managing a large club. I had worked in bars and clubs for twenty two years when yoga came into my life. It litterally changed who I was. I could not justify the consequeces of my job with the new principles of my life.I teach because I know the power of yoga and breath and I want the whole world to know it with me. Yoga has brought many new people and blessings to my life. Namaste
